One-to-one sound therapy  sessions in Totnes, combining sound, Reiki Energy, and deep rest practices to gently settle the nervous system and bring the body back into balance.

 

Working from a beautiful, dedicated yurt space in Totnes, these sessions offer something more spacious and held than a typical sound bath or gong bath.

​

With many years’ experience, and a background in sound therapy, yoga, and Reiki, your  session is shaped with a depth of understanding that supports both body and mind.

 

Each session is 90 minutes, allowing time to arrive, settle, and fully receive the experience.

You’ll be supported on a low wooden lounger, allowing the body to unfurl into a gentle wave like position with deep cushioning, blankets, and a infrared heated crystal mat designed for comfort and alignment, allowing the body to fully soften without effort.

 

The space is carefully prepared with a range of instruments including multiple large gongs, singing bowls, and chimes, creating an immersive field of sound that is felt as much as it is heard.

 

Often, the clients feel incredibly relaxed even before the sound begins.

 

Sessions begin with stillness. Reiki is used first to help settle the nervous system and soften protective holding patterns. This creates a sense of safety in the body, allowing the sound to be received more deeply - not just heard, but felt.

 

As the session unfolds, you’ll hear the clear tones of crystal singing bowls and the deeper resonance of gongs, creating waves of vibration that move through the body. These vibrations help to release physical tension, quiet mental activity, and guide the system into a state of rest and repair.

 

Each session is intuitive and responsive, allowing space for what your system needs on the day.
