Service Description

Join Olivia for an intimate monthly Group Gong Bath, now held inside a beautiful, candle-lit yurt and limited to a small group All equipment is provided: mats, bolsters, blankets, cushions and eye bags, so all you need to do is arrive, settle in and lie back. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the session beginning promptly at 7:15 pm so the space can remain quiet and cocoon-like for everyone. Each participant is welcomed with a gentle three-card oracle reading, offered quietly at your mat to help set your intention for the evening. Once everyone is comfortable in the soft circle of mats fanning around the centre of the yurt, Olivia will open the session with Reiki. For those who consent, this includes a light, momentary touch to the soles of the feet as she asks for Reiki to flow for the duration of the sound bath. The heart of the session is the sound journey itself. You will hear from a beautiful collection of gongs, led by the 38-inch symphonic, along with other complementary instruments. Waves of tone, resonance and vibration move through the space, creating an immersive experience that can support deep rest, emotional release, clarity or gentle rejuvenation, depending on what your system most needs that evening. The session closes with a few quiet minutes of sunyata, the void, to allow silence to integrate the work of the sound. For those who wish to stay, herbal tea is offered afterwards. Each month, two if the 10 matts have a crystal-infused, infrared-heated mat ontop that encourages profound relaxation - these can be chosen on arrival on a first-come, first-served basis. Olivia is a fully qualified and experienced gong practitioner who trained with Sheila Whittaker. She is also a yoga teacher, oracle reader and Reiki Master Teacher. No experience is needed. Simply come as you are and allow an evening of rest and rebalance.

The Yoki Way Yurt Moon View House Higher Westonfields Totnes TQ9 5QZ To access the Yurt, there is a short downhill walk down the garden and the lawn to reach it from the road.  Please wear shoes suitable for walking on grass, as it may be wet and a little Slippy after rain. Please tread slowly and carefully as you come down through the lawn, as the lawn is set on a slight incline. Absolutely no parking in the small cul de sac itself, parking must be on the main road If you are walking up from the main town please allow a little extra time for the incline as we are higher up the hill than Totnes town As you arrive and as you leave, I ask that those that come in pairs or a small group keep conversations are kept to a hush This began as a way protect the quiet of the local area, but I have found it to be something more meaningful. Entering in hushed voices is a way to prepare for the stillness and rest you are about to experience. Leaving in the same gentle way honors the space you have taken for yourself before you step back into the wider rhythms of daily life. Booking policy reminder; Refunds or a credit to be used across any of the services can be done 48Hours before your sessions starts. As this is a small group session so the 48 hours allows enough time for me to re sell your space
