Seasonal Session in the Yurt.jpg
Yoga 3hour in yurt.jpg
The Yoki way re band 2025.png

These seasonal sessions are created as pit stops for nervous systems living in a world that doesn’t stop.

Held in person in a beautiful, carefully curated space, each three-hour gathering is an invitation to pause, settle, and realign with the natural rhythm of the season. They mark the turning of the wheel, not as something to analyse or fix, but as something to feel.

Modern life is full-on. Even when it’s good, it’s fast, stimulating, and relentless. These sessions exist because our bodies were never designed to keep pace without rest, support, and moments of genuine down-shifting.

This is not an escape from life.

It’s a pause that allows you to return to it with more capacity.

What These Sessions Offer

Each seasonal journey is intentionally slow, spacious, and deeply nourishing. There is nothing you need to do, nothing to share, and nothing to prepare.

You simply arrive, lie down, and allow the session to take place.

Reiki is offered throughout the session with limited or no touch (you will be given the option to choose)

The group is kept small to preserve a sense of safety and containment, and everything is provided, mats, blankets, bolsters, cushions, and comfort layers. You don’t need to bring anything at all.

These sessions have been running for over three years now in Totnes, with two gatherings offered each season, and they have become a popular anchor point in the year for many people.

How the Session Unfolds

We begin gently, allowing the body and nervous system time to arrive.

The session opens with a slow, floor-based movement sequence, designed to be accessible and supportive rather than effortful. This light movement helps the body soften, warms the tissues, and prepares the nervous system for rest.

From there, we ease into extra long-hold restorative postures, fully supported with props so the body can truly let go. During this phase, each person receives hands-on Reiki, offered quietly and respectfully, supporting deep regulation, release, and energetic balance.

Throughout the session, spoken word and guided imagery are woven gently through the carefully curate playlist offering grounding, reassurance, and seasonal reflection without demanding attention or participation.

There is no group interaction, no sharing, and no expectation to engage beyond your own inner experience.

The final demonstration of the journey is a 45-minute immersive sound experience, using multiple large gongs  crystal singing bowl, and other carefully chosen instruments.

The sound is grounding, expansive, and integrative, supporting the nervous system to settle deeply before returning to the outer world.

Oracle cards are drawn as part of the session, offering a quiet seasonal thread of insight held collectively rather than individually.
